giving heritage a new life

Since 2019, we renovated 3 buildings and participated in renovating 6 others.

Collective kitchen

Our food is prepared by a network of kitchens from the houses of Nablus’s old town. Each meal is the result of many hands and the know-how, traditions, and skills of many people.

The revenues from each meal benefit several families, women, and small businesses in the local context, collaborating on a permanent basis with Yalla Project.

Charity

We promote a variety of charity initiatives.

So far, Yalla supported the refurbishing of 6 houses, fundraising for 3 social initiatives, food distribution for families in need, and providing shelter for travelers stuck during Israeli attacks.

cultural activities

Yalla is committed to bringing back cultural life in Nablus old town.

So far organized tens of free cultural events such as music concerts, traditional storytelling, poetry readings, book launches, and cultural debates.

Moreover,  we participated in several Radio and TV broadcasting.

Students support

We support students, researchers, and learning activities all around. We offer two types of support: knowledge and logistics.

So far we provided guidance to numerous students and researchers, counseling, training, and sharing our archives.

Our spaces hosted lectures, university courses, professional workshops, camps, cultural tours, and offered a logistic base for numerous researchers and foreign academic institutions that operate in Palestine.
